In the U.S. there are just a dozen choices if you want to drive a new vehicle that can run biodiesel — a few VWs, a Jeep, some full-sized pick-up trucks, a delivery van, and a Hummer, which hardly counts. Notably absent are more small and medium-sized passenger vehicles and pick-up trucks. It’s a cryin’ shame that US automakers sell their small and medium-sized trucks for sale with diesel powerplants on other continents, but have not made the same trucks available in the US because of a perceived lack of interest. The vehicles now for sale are listed at DieselForum.org
There are mid-sized diesel pick-ups coming in 2008. Good article on the new clean diesel at carconnection.com.

good to hear about the new pickups coming.
I've been looking for a Jeep Liberty with the diesel and can't find any.
One other option is the Dodge Sprinter van (same as the Mercedes version).
You can get a work truck version (with a rack-styled bed) of that truck by special order.
